ELMOS'
CEO Dr. Anton Mindl and the members of the board Dr. Klaus Weyer and
Reinhard Senf use their remaining time during a Dresden visit to take a
look at the building site. They are amazed because of its size. ELMOS
secures the financing of the construction project by its comissions for
ASIC designs and is standing surety for several million Euro.
Funnily, AMD announced today that they want to invest 2.5 billion US$
into their two factories in Dresden-Wilschdorf during the next years.

Foundation Stone Ceremony
On 5th May 2006 the symbolic foundation stone for the new DMOS
development and office building was layed. DMOS employees,
representatives of Saxony and Dresden, neighbours, project team
and construction companies as well as members of ELMOS AG and former
colleagues took part.
Despite the long and hard winter the foundation stone was layed two
weeks ahead of plan.

Snow again last night. But
thanks to the worker's speed
the snow did not settle in the building pit. To the left you see part
of the anchoring machine. The anchors are needed to stabilize the

In the background you see
the railway station, currently also under construction. The left part
visible in the pictur will later become the supplies road for the site.
In the foreground, planks are inserted between the iron pillars to keep
the sides of the pit from caving in.

Though sunny, relics of
snow are still visible. In this year, winter
leaves Dresden at the end of March. But the nights are not as cold in
the city center as atop the slopes that mark off the Elbe river valley.
