Internship: Analysis of standard DSP architectures for use in the eDSI data path

For our department Digital Design we are offering an internship (m/f/d). The topic is Analysis of standard DSP architectures for use in the eDSI data path.

The following tasks are to be solved as part of an internship

  • Analysis of DSP architectures in terms of instruction set, parallelism, memory interface, memory, compiler, etc.
  • Setting up different DSP hardware descriptions and simulating simple calculation examples
  • Implementation of the eDSI data path on a selected DSP architecture
     

You meet the following requirements

  • Completed basic studies in electrical engineering, information systems technology (or comparable).
  • Experience in the programming languages VHDL, System Verilog and C
  • Experience in the Verilog language system and the UVM verification method is an advantage
  • Experience in working with simulation tools
  • Basic knowledge of digital design for ICs and FPGAs
