Internship / Working Student Position: Evaluation of the Verilator Open-Source Platform for Digital Verification

For our department Digital Design we are offering an internship / working student position (m/f/d). The topic is Evaluation of the Verilator Open-Source Platform for Digital Verification.

The following tasks are to be solved as part of an internship /working student activity

Familiarization with the topic of modeling SystemVerilog HDL code
Analysis of relevant requirements for C++ and SystemC code in the digital verification flow
Development and comparison of typical use cases, including a comparison between the original HDL code and the model
Documentation of the results

You meet the following requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, information systems engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of SystemVerilog, C, C++, scripting, and Git/SVN
Meticulous, structured, and independent work style
Basic knowledge of Linux
Experience with simulation tools such as VCS and Verdi
Willingness to collaborate on other related topics in the field of modeling
