For our department Digital Design we are offering an internship / working student position (m/f/d). The topic is Evaluation of the Verilator Open-Source Platform for Digital Verification.
The following tasks are to be solved as part of an internship /working student activity
- Familiarization with the topic of modeling SystemVerilog HDL code
- Analysis of relevant requirements for C++ and SystemC code in the digital verification flow
- Development and comparison of typical use cases, including a comparison between the original HDL code and the model
- Documentation of the results
You meet the following requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, information systems engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog, C, C++, scripting, and Git/SVN
- Meticulous, structured, and independent work style
- Basic knowledge of Linux
- Experience with simulation tools such as VCS and Verdi
- Willingness to collaborate on other related topics in the field of modeling
