Internship / Working Student Position: Support for development in the area of Ethernet MAC / 10BASE-T1S

The following tasks are to be solved as part of an internship /working student activity

• Familiarization with the development of an Ethernet MAC in the context of Automotive Ethernet and 10BASE-T1S
• Analysis of relevant requirements of the Ethernet 10BASE-T1S standard
• Development and implementation of RTL components, conducting simulations, and assisting with FPGA prototyping
• Documentation of results
   

You meet the following requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, information systems engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of (System) Verilog, C, Python, scripting, and Git/SVN
• Meticulous, structured, and independent work style
• Basic knowledge of Ethernet and bus systems is a plus
• Experience with RTL design, simulation tools, FPGA platforms, or oscilloscopes is desirable
• Willingness to contribute to other related topics in the field of 10BASE-T1S and bus systems
