Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) Automotive Motor Control
Our Requirements
- completed Master studies in the field of Electrical Engineering
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience as an application engineer in the automotive industry preferably in the areas of Motor Control (BLDC, Stepper) and/or embedded application SW
- knowledge of hardware PCB design, SW protocols and in-vehicle networking (LIN/CAN/CAN-FD) desired
- knowledge of functional safety, ISO26262 processes and cybersecurity is a plus
- innovativeness, reliability and ability to work in a team
- very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
You are interested in the following tasks
- being a contact person for our customers for all technical questions related to your area of expertise in Automotive Motor Control
- capture and generate appropriate market and development trends in Motor Control including documentation and communication to relevant business line stakeholders
- deriving new technical product requirements for the Motor Control portfolio and actively contributing to the definition of system acceptance tests and product validation on system level
- conducting comprehensive product presentations internally and externally
- create product documentation, demonstrators and general collaterals and sales tools for internal and external customers
- customer site visits to drive design-in opportunities and increase demand for Elmos products
